When most people think of all-inclusive resorts, they usually imagine a tropical paradise in the Caribbean or Mexico. While these destinations offer some of the best all-inclusive resorts in the world, what if you don’t want to travel outside the United States?
I’ve done both the tropical all-inclusive and the rustic mountain setting. They each have their own special place when it comes to vacation spots. The United States has so many options allowing you to explore its natural beauty while enjoying a luxury all-inclusive experience.

Does America do all inclusive resorts?
Yup! America has many all inclusive resorts that offer a wide range of amenities and activities. While the Caribbean and Mexico are what’s usually associated with all inclusive resorts, there are plenty of options within the United States as well. These resorts provide a comfortable, convenient and hassle free vacation, including accommodations, meals, drinks, and activities.
Some of the most popular all inclusive resorts in the U.S. are located in warm weather destinations such as Florida, Hawaii, and California, but there are also resorts in other regions of the country, such as the Northeast and the Midwest.
Although they may be more expensive than those in the Caribbean or Mexico, all inclusive resorts in the US offer unique experiences such as horseback riding, hiking, fishing, and skiing that may not be included at other all inclusive destinations.
What are the types of all inclusive resorts?
When you’re researching for an all inclusive resort, keep in mind that there are many different types to choose from. So, it’s important to know what kind of experience you’re interested in before you start your research.
Beach Resorts – You’ll find these near a beach and featuring water activities such as swimming, snorkeling, and scuba diving.
Family Resorts – These are designed with families in mind and offer activities and amenities for all ages, including kids’ clubs, water parks, and family-friendly entertainment.
Adult Only Resorts – These resorts are exclusively for adults, offering a more tranquil and romantic atmosphere for couples, and honeymooners. Alternatively, some adult-only resorts may be focused on a party atmosphere.
Health and Wellness Resorts – These resorts focus on health and wellness and feature spa treatments, meditation and mindfulness activities, fitness classes, and health-conscious cuisine.
Luxury Resorts – These resorts offer the ultimate in luxury and feature high-end amenities, gourmet dining options, and personalized services.
Adventure Resorts – Ideal for travelers who want to explore the outdoors and participate in activities such as hiking, kayaking, and zip-lining.
Ski Resorts – These resorts cater to skiers and snowboarders and offer access to world-class slopes and winter sports activities.
